Does this story sound familiar to you?  You are at work, maybe you’re at lunch, but you’re talking to people and its mid-day.  You look down and you see your shirt has some unusual wet spots.  Maybe you have some on your back.  Maybe you have some around your neck.  Maybe you have some around the most embarrassing spot, your arm pits!  Congratulations.  You suffer from excessive sweating!  I wanted to learn how to stop sweating just like you.  So I am going to give you a few of the tips that helped me when I got on my road to being 100% sweat free.

If you want to stop sweating, the first thing you need to do is to start planning ahead.  Prevention is the number one key to success.  Watch the weather channel and keep up with the forecast.  Is it the summer and is the weather hot?  Wear something like cotton.  Is it going to be cold?  Wear a material like wool.   Regardless of the weather, you should always be wearing materials that let your skin breathe.  If you wear make-up, try to wear things that will let your skin breathe as well.

Avoid spicy foods.  If you find that after a spicy meal that you sweat more than usual, then it’s best to avoid spicy foods unless you are in a situation where you won’t be embarrassed.  This goes for most foods.  Some people can have mild reactions and it can cause them to sweat profusely.  If you want to stop sweating, start drinking a lot of water as well.  I know it sounds counter-intuitive but trust me – it works!

If you discover you sweat more in the armpit region, you are in luck.  There are several deodorants out there on the market that can help your armpits stop sweating.  Personally, I like to gravitate towards deodorants that are made for athletes.  When formulating the deodorants they keep in mind how sweaty a person can be after an athletic event.   This pretty much guarantees you will stop sweat in it’s tracks.
